A documentary that shows us what weather is like on other worlds in our solar system. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to walk on the surface of Mars, Venus and other worlds, and see what kind of climate those other worlds have, then this documentary should entertain.

The film goes into hard facts about why our atmosphere is ideal for us, what causes storms, how those storms manifest on other worlds, and, if those storms existed here on Earth, what the ramifications would be.

The documentary hits on the big severe climates, and tends to skimp over planets that have essentially "no atmosphere" such as Mercury and our own moon (note that our moon actually does have an extremely thin atmosphere, but is so thin as to essentially be a vacuum, and hovers above the lunar surface at about an inch or two .... interesting trivia factoid). So where we'll learn about dust devils on Mars, and violent storms on Jupiter and Venus, we're not going to get much on Mercury or Uranus, nor even comets for that matter.

The film does bog somewhat at the three-quarter mark, but is still highly educational and entertaining.

If you're interested in what it's like on other worlds, then check out this documentary. Worth an afternoon's viewing.
