Ahh, the "wedge of Aiud". Found exactly 35-feet below the earth's surface speaks volumes. Thirty-five, a number that is only divisible by 5 and 7 which when added equal an even dozen. Our standard of measurement is a foot also composed of a dozen smaller increments called inches. This mysterious wedge, therefore, had to be created and placed by the superior race (as opposed to those lesser inferior earth-based "metric system" races). A superior race from a galaxy far far away.
The above rare insight is just the kind of schtick the AA show has built its massive audience upon. It makes sense in the mind of a Willy Wonka Swiss man and another "what country is that accent anyway" mysterious researcher whose hair was the inspiration for females in the rock band also mysteriously from a time before the haired one himself and named after an even earlier aerial weapon of mass destruction.
This, my friends, is the best comedy program on The History Channel. Suck it Trebek (and the Comedy Channel).
