A snoozefest of untold dimensions...
Right, well this 2012 Pinoy horror movie was anything but entertaining, and there was nothing scary about it at all. Well that is actually not fully true, it was actually scary that a movie can be as boring and uneventful as this was.
There was very little coherency to the storyline, and it ultimately failed to captivate or impress even in the least bit.
As for the acting in "Mangkukulob", well let's just be bluntly honest and say it wasn't impressive in any way. No familiar faces or names, and performances that were very amateurish.
This is a low budget movie in every sense of the word, but sometimes the low budget movies are entertaining and good, "Mangkukulob" weren't one of those movies, nowhere near it as a matter of fact.
I can't think of a single reason why you would want to put your time or money on this. If you like Asian horror movies then stay well clear of "Mangkukulob". I suffered through just about half of the movie before I had to find something else to watch as I was literally being bored to death.
