"Hitler's G.I. Death Camp" is a documentary about a seldom mentioned aspect of WWII. While most Allied prisoners of war were treated pretty well by the Germans, SOME were horribly mistreated. The show begins with the Germans selecting out about 300 American soldiers from the prisoners for work in their hidden super-weapon program (working on the Me-262). Why were these particular folks chosen-- they were either Jews, looked Jewish or were trouble makers. This is because the plan was to work them to death--and, given that they were soul-less Nazis, why not kill these particular folks?
This is a tough show to watch. After all the stories of the survivors are brutal and heart-wrenching. Keep some Kleenex handy-- as the show is one that will no doubt strike a chord. Well worth seeing.
