Gws vs Frem, at Manuka Oval.

Warning: Spoilers
Polar opposites in terms of general expectation and performance these two teams, Freo potential top 4 and the Giants bottom 4, I had neither doing anything. Lobb and Taberner out for Freo, Fyfe in, Toby Greene out for the Giants. Hogan kicks the opener for the Giants and gets another easy one soon after. Ward goals from 50, putting the Giants out to a handy early lead. Freo not looking too invested in this one, the Giants lead by only 13 at quarter-time though and didn't really punish them. The Giants quickly kick away in the 2nd, until an Aleer and Cumming blunder in the back-line gifting the Dockers a goal. Fremantle do respond, bringing the deficit back to 11 by the half. Freo hit the lead in the 3rd, after Pearce gets on to one and up 1 going into the last. Clark goals from range, playing well. Taylor thwarting so many forward 50 entries, but the Dockers get home by 20 in the end. Freo dominated the hit-outs, +10 in clearances with much more of the footy. The Dockers had 24 more inside 50's, for 6 more scoring shots. Brodie best afield, with 30 disposals, 5 clearances, 6 inside 50's, 7 tackles, a goal and assist. Serong 32 disposals, 11 clearances, 5 inside 50's and a goal. Brayshaw 25 disposals, 6 inside 50's, 5 intercepts and 2 goals. For the Giants, Taylor 20 disposals, 5 contested marks and 12 intercepts.

3. (Frem) W. Brodie, 2. (Gws) S. Taylor, 1. (Frem) C. Serong.
