Probably the most annoying actresses ever
Mister-Creeper7 December 2014
Seriously. This film was terrible. Nothing but two of the most annoying girls I have ever watched try to act. The script, if there was one, was just awful. Why would any filmmaker want to make their actresses so annoying? This "found footage" film is only 77 minutes long and it takes 60 minutes (give or take a minute or two) before anything actually happens, and when it does happen, it makes no sense whatsoever. A total waste of time and a very poor attempt at film-making. Just flat-out awful. And did I mention annoying? Very annoying.

IMDb requires a minimum length of 10 lines of text, so I will finish this last line by reiterating how annoying the actresses were. They were very annoying!

Worst found footage film I have seen. It was tough to sit through but I thought maybe just maybe, it would get better....it did NOT!

Worst found footage movie
Leofwine_draca17 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
As another reviewer has commented, FINAL ENTRIES is the worst found footage horror movie yet. It was made for no money in New Zealand and follows around a couple of schoolgirls as they bunk off school and decide to check out some empty properties to have some fun; unfortunately for them, one such property turns out to be occupied. This is tawdry, aimless stuff, featuring some sub-BLAIR WITCH shenanigans at the climax and nothing else.

Surprisingly effective and unnerving found footage horror outing
Woodyanders20 October 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Found footage horror films are a dime a dozen, so it's really saying something that this particular New Zealand addition to this exhausted sub-genre somehow manages to rise well out of the mire and come across as one quite chilling and unsettling little item. The basic premise doesn't sound too promising: Two teenage girls decide to skip school and go house squatting at empty vacation homes in the countryside. Things go terribly awry when the pair encounter an odd fellow squatter at one of the homes. So far, so familiar. Fortunately, the winningly perky chemistry between the two personable gals keeps the picture buzzing and makes it easy for the viewer to have a genuine emotional investment in their plight. Moreover, the whole thing is well grounded in an utterly believable everyday suburban reality, there's a considerable amount of creepy atmosphere and claustrophobic tension, and the inevitable wobbly'n'blurry shaky-cam stuff isn't anywhere near as irritating as one might dread. Done in a stark and intimate style, laced with an engaging surplus of uproariously earthy wit, further enhanced by convincing naturalistic acting, and topped off by a devastating downbeat conclusion, this movie in its own deceptively quiet and low-key way proves to be an extremely potent and upsetting shocker.
