Director Jay Woelfel (Closed for the Season) returns to horror with a psychological tale of mistaken identity. Shot on 35mm, Woelfel’s Season of Darkness is a story that focuses on a protagonist who is an escaped mental patient. He finds his release daunting and strange. Director Jay Woefel (Closed for the Season) is set to premiere his latest horror feature Season of Darkness shortly. This is a psychological tale involving a patient who escapes from a psychiatric hospital. Dwight (Nick Baldasare) is mistaken for another when he is free, however. People see him as Artemus Finch and Dwight plays right along with them, in order to gain their favour. Dwight also desires Artemus' wife's affections. Events takes a turn for the worse when Dwight is plagued by guilt and by his memories. As seen in the trailer, shadows hound Dwight until he faces the demons within.
