In the 6 days leading up to the June 15th video premiere, Escape the Fate launched the "Seven Deadly Sins campaign" that led fans on a hunt to unearth "Gorgeous Nightmare" video stills across 6 websites, with each image depicting a different "Deadly Sin".
During the six days of pre-release promotion, Escape the Fate gained 2 million new fans on Facebook, accrued more than 50,000 views of the "Gorgeous Nightmare" trailer and had over 7,000 visitors daily to their official website.
When the final image of "Gluttony; The Insatiable", as portrayed by Michael Q. Schmidt, was unearthed on the DreadCentral.com website, the complete film was finally released.
'Escape the Fate' held a "find the Seven Deadly Sins contest" immediately after releasing the Gorgeous Nightmare trailer... a contest that had to be completed before they would release their film.
Images of each of the Seven Deadly Sins, as represented by the film's actors, were secreted on websites across the Internet and fans were challenged to look for them. They each had to be unearthed, one-by-one, before the complete film would be released.
