An unexpected family tragedy led Derrick to sell his '87 Buick Grand National years ago when his father died at a young age, forcing him to assume the role of the family patriarch. After forsaking his dreams and selling his beloved Grand National, Derrick raised the much-needed funds to rear his brothers and sisters and pay for all the family's expenses. He managed to keep his family together successfully in the face of tragedy and adversity and hasn't looked back since. Years later, we surprise him with a custom '87 Grand National built by ROYL garage at the beautiful Marietta Square outside Atlanta. His entire family comes out for the reveal, turning into a momentous occasion you just can't miss.

We built this 1978 F-150 for a man named Derek who battles early onset Parkinson's in his 40s. He can still drive, but he's slowly becoming more affected by the disease. His grandfather had a classic F-150 that he wanted to keep as a family heirloom forever. He had to sell it during hard times and has always dreamed of getting it back. We built the most badass '78 F-150 that looks like a classic truck but is totally modernized. Derek is an outdoorsman who loves fishing, hunting, and camping. So we built him a classic truck with a massive tent, including a bed to sleep in when he goes camping. We revealed it in Charlotte, North Carolina - NASCAR Country at NASCAR champion Joey Logano's car collection. The paint job on this truck is insane.

We built this 1969 Camaro for Jeremy, a man who dedicates his life to running marathons for cancer charities and veterans and was forced to sell his 1969 Camaro to pay for college. He has had a picture of it above his workbench for all these years. His father was extremely obese and on the road to having a heart attack and potentially dying. Jeremy saved his father's life by steering him into a healthy lifestyle by getting him to run 10K's and marathons with him. We built the most badass orange '69 Camaro and revealed it to Jeremy at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row on the infamous Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. We lured him there by telling him that he was the finalist in a music competition. As a hobby, he writes music and builds guitars with his daughter. We brought in country music legend Neal McCoy and rising country star Casee Allen to help us with the reveal. That duo also performs their new country hit, which is being released in conjunction with the show.

Bill Adams had a one-of-one 1969 Road Runner convertible, the only four-speed '69 convertible ever built in Petty Blue. It's literally a one-of-one vehicle. He was forced to sell the car to pay medical expenses for his autistic son who has been battling leukemia. I reached out to the Mopar community about the story, and Angel donors stepped up and donated the vehicle to us to build for Bill and Luke Adams. It is a super touching story. Our team was nervous about building a one-of-one car, so I brought in Mopar experts to help us. This vehicle is beyond gorgeous. I was on the cover of Mopar Magazine with it recently. I still haven't posted that, but plan to in conjunction with the show. We did the reveal at Muscle Cars at the Strip Car Show in Las Vegas last summer. It's one of the biggest car shows in the country and was the ideal place for this amazing reveal.

We built this 1986 Mustang Fox Body for a woman named Terry D. She's obsessed with Mustangs and had one when she was younger. Getting pregnant with her son, Taylor, forced her to sell her beloved car. Her doctors told her she couldn't have children, so as you can imagine, Taylor was a big surprise. She had to part with that cherished Mustang to raise her son. We had the pleasure of reuniting her with the most badass Fox Body built by ROYL garage at Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, Georgia. A professional racecar driver comes to the reveal to take her for a proper lap around the track. She's a southern spitfire, absolutely adorable, and this classic car is every modder's dream.

We built this 1967 Chevelle convertible for Navy Veteran, Terry, a very humble and altruistic man who's always putting everyone else first. After serving his country, Terry dedicated 30 years of his life to the Indy 500 museum. Unfortunately, he lost five fingers in a garage accident while working there. However, even that wasn't enough to deter him from his life passion. To honor this respected and dedicated individual, we built him a gorgeous '67 Chevelle convertible. Our team started working on this project alongside his daughter, who was eight months pregnant when she set the wheels in motion. She's the perfect accomplice we needed to lure Terry to the museum under the guise of helping her move a car since she's still connected with the Indy 500 speedway. Coming up with the perfect excuse for him to come in was no problem. In the end, we surprised Terry with the Chevelle beyond his wildest dreams at the Indy 500 speedway during race weekend.

We built this 1973 VW Super Beetle for a woman named Neesa, who founded two non-profit organizations for the betterment of those underserved in her community. One of her charities, Jackie's Song, helps former prisoners get back on their feet once released. She also heads an education-related charity benefiting children. Neesa had to sell her VW to pay for college, and she's longed to get another one ever since. Her friend James submitted her story, and we loved it. We revealed the VW to her at the Cruisin the Coast Car Show on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It's the largest outdoor car show in the country. I pulled strings to get us the required permission to film on location since they've never let another TV show record inside. The mayor came out and handed the car keys to Neesa in a heart-tugging moment in the end. Her VW was named Meadowlark, so naturally, we gave this one the eponymous title.

We built the 1965 GTO convertible for Navy Veteran Rob who was an F-14 Tomcat RIO while in the Black Aces, not unlike Goose played by Tom Cruise in the movie Top Gun. Rob is from Panama City Beach, Florida. We built him a stunning GTO and revealed it to him at the famous Flora-Bama bar on the border of Florida and Alabama. It's a super cool story because his neighbor is the one who submitted him for this. He had to part ways with the GTO years ago in his divorce and couldn't afford another one, and he talks about it daily to his friends and neighbors. It's a very touching story and a beautiful reveal. The mayor of Orange Beach came out to join us for the reveal. Our builder on the show, RJ performed live on stage at Flora-Bama bar that weekend.

We built this 1977 El Camino for a man named Americo, who legally immigrated to the US with his family, and, in doing so had to sell his classic cars. The El Camino was his favorite. His son submitted his story, and we loved it. We built him an insane El Camino with the most killer black and gold paint job and a massive engine. We will reveal this to him, likely in downtown Atlanta or little five points. He has several children, and they were all a part of this.

We built this 1986 Chevrolet square body truck for an Atlanta-based caregiver. While saving lives during the Covid-19 pandemic, she lost her father to Coronavirus. Her friend told us the story of this amazing woman who's taking care of others yet doesn't have a car or basic transportation to help her do her job. We built her the truck we think she should have, and it's pink and badass. As an added bonus, this is the one time we spun the wheels on the reveal and also surprised the accomplice with a truck for herself. These women are devout Christians and are truly deserving of these blessings. We plan to reveal both custom trucks at a famous church in Atlanta.

We built this 1967 Bronco for a man named Todd Soliday, who sold his beloved '67 Bronco to accompany his girlfriend to Rwanda to do a documentary on the Rwandan genocide. He's one of the most deserving people out there. He also produces documentaries on topics like ocean pollution and the holocaust. He's a phenomenal human being. His now wife, Leah, submitted his story, and we naturally gravitated to it. We made history with this Bronco since it was the first time a Ford Godzilla engine went into a classic Bronco. This engine installation was a tremendous feat that was almost impossible for us. But we did it, and the Bronco is an out-of-control badass. Our masterpiece ride was a star at Ford's booth at SEMA 2021. A tremendous honor. Last summer, we revealed it to Todd in gorgeous Sun Valley, Idaho.
