Storyline
Did you know
- GoofsNo practicing attorney worth their salt would allow a client to "explain" what happened with other people present. Only exception would be a spouse covered by privilege.
- Quotes
Emily Thorne: [opening voiceover] My father's false imprisonment taught me in that in a crisis, you quickly find out who your real friends are. Tragedy and scandal, it seems, have a unique way of clarifying people's priorities.

explains some, but not all, the plot line is still unconvincing
This episode rendered my previous review null and void, because my main gripe was addressed in here. It was Daniel that fell down. The full scene was revealed and that part - mistakenly seen by myself as a monumental goof - was explained.
There are so many other things though. Like everything about fake/original Amanda, why she came to the pier, only to run off, what caused her to head like a lemming to the beach? That blood on Jack's hand? I still don't understand it, and I watched three times.
Okay. the first shot, Tyler got shot by Daniel. Then Daniel got knocked out from behind by incongruous character Mr. Asian Investor. Who seems to have shot Tyler. But... we saw the slender arm in previous episode, the gloved hand... That was Amanda.
To continue the unexplained: Why did Jack drag the body away? And that infinity box, the non-linear storytelling may have me confused, but Emily buried the damn thing, then that Asian guy brought it to her, and it just keeps popping up. In this episode, it is finally smashed.
I watch and re-watch and may come to better conclusions at some later time, but this story is utterly confusing IN A BAD WAY.
And that's bad.
End of story.
