Bye Lori
shelbythuylinh14 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
As a fundraiser ends up in a murder there where the Governor is holding on it there. And how that it involves the Russian government.

As Five 0 must go really rogue and Chin Ho nearly is transferred over to Russia to stand trial for breaking and entering but the Governor stops it and warns the Russian government that they need to stand down or he would bring a lot of noise there.

It leads to Lori's departure from Five 0 back to Homeland Security. Too bad she did not make anymore appearances on a recurring basis. I for one liked her.

Good news or bad news first?

Warning: Spoilers
Good news is this was a great episode - lot of action, lot of drama, suspenseful and it employed the back and forth time jumping to perfection. The bad news, unfortunately, it was the last episode with the character Lori Weston which dropped my overall rating from a 9/10 to the 7. I thought she was a fantastic addition to the 5-O Unit. Season 2 was the best of the 10 season run, in my opinion, and Lori had a lot to do with the show's success. But one show's loss was another show's gain as Lauren German jumped almost immediately onto a new show (at the time), Chicago Fire and became a huge part of that show's early success.

An unpolitically correct episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Hawaii Five O is an unpolitically correct show. In this episode, some people play dirty, and Steve McG bends some rules. Once a rapist decides to use diplomatic power Steve plots a Navy Seal style plan, special opts, alpha male, A team Hannibal Smith plan! If I could be a T V character it would be Steve McG! I will not ruin the show for the reader, but I will say it was a high risk plan. If the plan payed off the team would be covered. The best part of the plan is the villains could not scream because they were caught red handed. I really liked this episode. I would call this episode The A team meets Hawaii Five-0. I give I Helu Pu seven out of ten. It is nice to have a show that prides itself with having adrenaline, which make Steve McG a good guy. For myself this show is more entertaining then The big Bang Theory.
