Thanks to James. Kasia ends up working for military intelligence and quickly finds that it is not as straightforward as she thought it would be.

She has been asked to follow a Polish woman who works in a factory and is suspected of passing secrets.

Kasia walks a dog and ends up befriending the Polish lady and is adamant that she would not be passing on secrets. Kasia is in for a shock.

Meanwhile Marga behaves she is pregnant, but the father of the baby has no love for her. To the Nazis, she is just a baby making machine.

As for Harry, he is out of hospital and reunites with Stan and the anglo Indian troops.

Kasia'a spy story and Marga's are compelling. I like Robina's heart being somewhat thawed by James.

The desert scenes CGI look cheap, this is where any budget cuts show up glaringly. The racism angle is interesting such as the Indian troops never get saluted back.

Kasia received her first assignment, to follow another Polish woman in England, believed to be a spy, Marga discovers she's pregnant, and Rajid is left wondering who the real enemy is.

What a captivating watch this second series has become, another excellent episode, intense, thought provoking and utterly engaging.

Every single segment is so interesting, there's so much going on, it is forcing you to think about aspects of the war that aren't often highlighted, Marga's story in particular is fascinating.

Rajid continues to impress, he's the most fascinating character, and that story of the treatment of The Indian soldiers is fascinating, and very sad.

Only gripe, once again the scenes in Egypt somehow don't look quite right.

Lesley Manville once again was tremendous, the entire cast did a great job.

Captivating.
