Roger Moore played James Bond in a sketch in this episode before he played the character on the big screen. The British spy goes on holiday, only to encounter Russian spy, Sonia Sekova, who happens to also be on holiday. This was a prophetic foreshadowing of Roger Moore's future. Nine years after he played in James Bond in that sketch in the TV show "Mainly Millicent", Moore in 'Live and Let Die' (1973) succeeded Sean Connery as the third actor to play James Bond. Moore played James Bond for a record breaking twelve years and he played the part up until 'A View to a Kill (1985)', after which he retired, and was replaced by actor Timothy Dalton.
