Cricket experiences the five stages of grief based on his issue with Hector getting older. Denial: He says no to Bill when he says he's not young anymore. Anger: He viciously screams against Remy in the train car when he says Hector has grown up. Bargaining: He abducts Hector from the party to have him all to himself. Depression: He lets Hector go back to the party after seeing him miss it, and feels downcast thinking he's gone for good. Acceptance: He finally realizes Hector has gotten too old for him and gives his old position to his sister Lupita.
Cricket mentions the events of "Critterball Crisis" at the beginning of "Country Side"
Moral for Country Side: Cricket and Remy learned they can make things fun if they think of it and to not make people angry just for fun. Tilly also learned while it is nice to share a room, there's always room for privacy.
Moral for Junk Mountain: Cricket learned he can't stop things from changing and it's best to move on and accept them.
This is the first episode of the Smalton arc, taking place after the Greens moved back to the country in "The Move" and continues for the rest of Season 3.
