One Chance suffered from poor, unimaginative writing and virtually no overall production. The story was simply abysmal and failed to leave the viewer with any sense of being informed or entertained. The soundtrack was misplaced and broken. The lighting and sound were amateur at best, along with bad camera angles and other film school student mistakes.
Despite the production's short comings; it all could have been over looked if the story had some kind of purpose. After viewing this film, I was left with a feeling as if I had just lost 20 minutes of my life.
I was rooting for this film to work; I am a supporter of the Arts. I understand that there are limitations to a film with a budget of just $2,000. But that still does not excuse the lame story and non-existing structure.
