Some major problems here

Okay, the idea of the challenge was really cool (even though I hate it when they break the builds during the challenge but that wasn't my problem). My problem came in the way they judged the builds. Although the Grandpappies didn't exactly have a great looking character, it at least did better than the fragile pig. The main objective was to last longer on the bull, and that was where the Grandpappies won. The Canadian stereotypes (let's be real here, I've never actually been to Canada but I'm willing to bet that not everyone wears Canada merch and drinks maple syrup all the time) had a Pig that while the concept was really fun, it was executed very poorly. The design was decent but it lacked detail in almost every part of its body (except the face). If design really compensates for at least 20% of the Bull meter, they should mention that a bit more. If esthetics were really that crucial, then they should really rethink how this judging system works, and make it clear to the contestants (like how Battlebots has a score card of 5/3/3 in Damage, Control and Aggression). The builders are just told what they have to do and the hosts never made it clear enough to fairly judge a situation like this week's bottom two. Even after that I was bashing my face against a table when they added another team who just gets to skip the first two challenges entirely. Not only did they have a sketchy at best elimination, but some random team is given a spot without even doing the first two rounds? I like Lego Masters as a show, and eventually want to be a contestant at some point, but if this is how they judge the show then I'll take as much time as I need.
