High summer on a country road in the midst of nowhere. CARLO is ordered by his buddy FRED to a random junction of the L85 to sell a fur coat. Why he should wear the coat in summer, why he should sell it at this place and why he should not smoke in it, Fred is not willing to answer. All Carlo hears from him is his choleric shouting out of the telephone. So Carlo has no choice but to wait. An endless horizon, a few cars that won't stop and a plane decorate the scenery. When Carlo finally capitulates to the waiting and puts on the thick coat, events follow thick and fast. Someone actually shows up. And because of some misunderstandings, not everyone will leave the crossing in one piece. Who would imagine this? On such a beautiful summer day .
