Krueger), a former corporate financial analyst, are holding auditions for Kyle's first show 1-1 = None: Accounting on Her Return. But as auditions wrap up they realize they have seen any women and still need to cast the female lead. Luckily there is a knock at the door. And then another.

Dani Buttram (Mary Black) and Hollis M. Daly (Laura Spencer) have both shown up after being offered the lead role. Kirby decides to use the read-thru to decide who would be best in the role. After meeting the other cast member Doug Gilford (Michael Lugenbuehl) the reading gets under way without the male lead. However, when the male lead turns out to be someone that Dani used to know Kirby has more to take into account.

Kyle begins to fall for Hollis. The only thing keeping him from asking her out, besides her annoying boy toy Derek (Artie Ahr), are his nerves. To complicate things, Grant (Brand Rackley) begins pitching for more assertive changes in the script.

Hollis doesn't care about the boys that won't leave her alone or the script that is clearly beneath her. She lives in the moment and brings that energy to the stage causing problems for the production. Problems that would have a chance at being solved if Doug didn't choose this moment to have a house party at his place.

Having good friends, a great show to work on, and now an amazing boyfriend, Dani begins to feel likes she is a part of Hollywood. Kirby gets offered a role to get him back in the game.

Grant is gone to Miami, Dani is missing, and the show now has no lead. Kirby, Kyle, Hollis, and Doug start pulling together the necessary pieces to make sure that the show can still go on.
