Watch Oswalt getting trolled

Warning: Spoilers
"Toluca Talk with Patton Oswalt" is a 3-minute Funnyordie live action short film that shows us (then not yet) Emmy winner Patton Oswalt as the host of a call-in talk show on the topic of recycling, but the callers have everything on their minds except talking about recycling. Poor Patton. If you have seen some of the C-Span call-in stuff on Youtube and liked it, then you will probably enjoy this one too. It is from 2009, so almost a decade old and was directed by Ryan Perez briefly before he scored his first (and so far only) Emmy nomination for his work on SNL. You also hear his voice in this little film on one occasion. Of course this is not a real call-in show and it is all staged and scripted, but that does not take away anything from the entertainmant factor. At least not for me. The joke doesn't get old before the film ends and that really is the one positive deal breaker here. And Oswalt also delivers a nice one-man show really. I am maybe a bit biased because I always found phone pranks funny, maybe funnier than I should, but if you do too and/or like Patton Oswalt, who is actually pretty famous still today, then go watch this one. One of my favorite FoD works and one of my favorite short films from its year. I highly recommend checking it out.
