The Etheria shorts showcase on Saturday, April 2 at 1:00 Pm, is 83 minutes of awesome new horror directed by women. It begins with the trailer for the new feature film B.C. Butcher, which was shot on 16 mm in Bowling's father's backyard in Topanga Canyon, California. B.C Butcher stars Kato Kaelin and features Rodney "The Mayor of Sunset Strip" Bingenheimer.

Genre actress and fan-fave Kristina Klebe sat down with us over the weekend to talk about her role in director Milan Todorović’s upcoming "murderous mermaid" flick (and more), and since she’s all sorts of awesome, you’ll read this. The mighty Boston Underground Film Festival celebrates their impressive 15th edition this year on March 27-31 at the Brattle Theatre. Here’s some highlights to be on the lookout for:
Opening night film: I Declare War, a childhood parable about war and brutality, directed by Jason Lapeyre and Robert Wilson.
Closing night film: Big Ass Spider!, a raucous giant arachnid vs. the military flick, directed by Mike Mendez.
Other Feature Films: Both Drew Tobia’s first feature, See You Next Tuesday; and the punk documentary A Band Called Death by Mark Christopher Covino and Jeff Howlett recently won awards at the 20th Chicago Underground Film Festival and will now kill it at Buff. Flashback Weekend is the Windy City's largest and longest running horror film convention, and for its 10th Anniversary the con is pulling out all the stops. It runs from August 10th through 12th, and we have all the info you need right here!
Fans in attendance have the opportunity to see almost three dozen of their favorite genre icons and attend autograph sessions and film panel discussions. They can also check out the large vendor room featuring tons of movie memorabilia and collectibles along with experiencing live horror theater, several movie screenings and after parties.
And as if all that isn't enough, Flashback Weekend is hosting a special concert featuring "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"/"Angel" bad boy James Marsters, who'll be on hand to perform in honor of his birthday at the con.
