The first 20 minutes, set the mood for what´s coming our way, It felt sharp, atmospheric, there are interesting character situations, emotive moments and infinitely better writing than we had in Aliens Redemption.

As it progresses, this feeling continues thankfully, a solid sci-fi film that got it right.

The score was awesome, we see the care they took to bring new elements to the tension scenes, were the aliens aproach and the action scenes were the marines and mercs go to war with the aliens, the intensity is there, along with some of the old vibes of Alien.

The connections on the alien franchise is what i most loved, the derelict scene, the interest of the weyland company on getting the aliens, the scientists investigation, the marines in the new base, learning more about what happend with the colonists on lv426, the special post credits scenes.

There´s a lot to love on this fan film, and i´ll tell you all, go see it, you won´t regret it, as long as you are a true fan of the franchise.

This movie touches on the spots, of the first two movies, it shows the engineer getting the facehugger on his face before his ship crashes on lv426.

That for me alone was the best scenes of the movie, but still the movies shows various easter eggs as for action set pieces where the mercs and the marines fight to the death with the aliens, it has everything a fan of the franchise hoped for, the story explores the next generation of Weylands, as the main man Weyland jr tells the lieutenant that a group of scientists got killed and they have to go there again, the first act shows the enigineers and the scientists going there, the second act show the war between the marines and the aliens, and the third act brings us back to the original alien as a clandestiny comes aboard making the tension go up, with scares and explosions, putting our heart on the line.

A great effort on bringing us a mix of the franchise, in an amazing fan film.

It scared, thrilled and entertained me.

How can they do an alien film like this one, it´s an incredible work all around.

The animation is great, the story is good.

The soundtrack is out of this world, with some sounds coming from alien and aliens, i can see the tribute here.

The story with the engineers is great, when the derelict lands, i loved that, so awesome.

The sets on the engineers base are so amazing.

The company as the same policy retrieve any alien found on lv426, so some scientists go there and they all die horribly.

When they lose the contact the marines go in again, but they are all surrounded by the creatures in their nest, but this time they all have awesome weapons, the apc fires, they have new ground machines guns, flamethrowers, miniguns.

All hell breaks loose on the new base.

A cool fan film based on the most awesome film franchise Alien.

Right from the beginning you have a feeling that something is wrong, when Weyland jr says that a bunch of scientists have gone to lv426 (that place is doomed) we already know what will happend to them, sometime later the lieutenant is called again, only for him to say that they lost communication, and the marines are off again to make the rescue , but when they get there, they find a lot of dead bodies, doors full of blood, and lots of signs of struggling, they soon go to the underground of the base when they are attacked by the aliens, the queen and some new alien forms wich i never saw in the franchise.

So all of this was a plus to me because i love the franchise and in general scifi movies.

I´m giving this one an 8, just for the effort of making a movie like this with a very low budget considering other movies.

And making all into one animation and live action fan movie, that people will follow in the future.

This fan film is all i hope it was, high quality in animation and live action, this is a fan film done right, i´ve already seen it 4 times, is that good.

Kudos to the director, and all the cast for making an amazing movie like this.

I´m very happy, just wish they would release it on bluray, so i could buy it, and add it to my collection of the alien franchise.

This movie shows what i was hoping to see, since the release of the first alien, how the derelict ship came from, and now i know.

It didn´t crash there, it was already there, in an engineer´s base of experiments, one of the facehuggers grabs an engineer and when it releases him, we see him awake and go to the command of the ship, when the ship starts to lift off, the chestburster explodes is chest, making him die, and crash the ship, and that was a top spot for me, later on we will see him in the chair of command fossilized of Alien.

Great scenes of tension, good sountrack, great characters.

I love it.

This is one of the finest science fiction fan films, i saw in a long time, not one minute into the film, and we see and engineer running from an alien queen, how awesome is that !!

The atmosphere, along with the amazing sets, few movies have managed to create the same kind eerie feeling.

The story starts with mr. Weyland the son telling lieutenant Felix that he sent a group of scientists back to a new base in lv426, they go there and are all slaughtered by the aliens, loosing communication with them, he sends the mercenaries there, they too are trapped by the aliens, sometime later after escaping the nightmare, they encounter a spaceship drifting through space (this reminds me of event horizon) and go inside to check it out, only to find an alien egg, once the egg opens inside their spaceship, the horror begins again, as the remaining survivors have to fight for their lives, against an incredible fast alien, that uses air ducts, i think this one is an oustanding creature, because i was so smart in some occasions in the movie, the animations are top notch, i could only give a 9 to this, because is that good, will watch it more times, to see it even better.

A lesson in good filmmaking.

Rui Constantino is an extremely talented action director because not only does he know great action, but he always backs the action up with a great story and interesting characters.

Kudos to actor Miguel Dias who did a great interpretation of Weyland jr. I liked that his main goal was only to bring the alien species back to earth, no matter what it cost, putting lives at danger and all, in some parts of the conversation he has with Felix he orders him, to bring back the aliens, and forget the troops, leading this guy to keep asking him to forget about it all.

Upcoming actor André Pedras did also an awesome work in the post credits scenes, bringing in the realism and tension, those first person shots were amazing.

The soundtrack is very good with tension, action and claustrophobic horror.

Awesome movie.

The premise is incredible as it takes us various planets were the engineers have several bases, and are making experiments, one of them goes wrong, but they are still trying to destroy earth, with that black liquid.

What comes next is one of engineers gets a facehugger on his mouth making him the host for a new queen, were after that his spaceship falls on Lv426.

And that is the beginning of the prequel to alien, then we go the new spacestation of Weyland Corporation were the son of mr. Weyland is now in charge well interpreted by portuguese actor Miguel d. Dias, he shows proof of the message that Burke sent the colonists to check out the spaceship and now he wants them to investigate it again.

They go there, and it´s pure hell, with the humans taking most of the losses, as they try to escape this nightmare.

A very good movie, with amazing sountrack and good performances by all, some stop motions felt a little flat, but hey it´s only a fan film, not an official one.

But for what it is and gave me nearly two hours of entertainment i give it a 9.

Everything has already been said about this great film n there seems to be little left to say but lemme contribute a lil more by praising how good this film is.

It's hard to look at this film without considering that this is a fan film, and a good one too.

There are characters that are merely alien food, and we know that sooner or later they will die, especially in the scenes in the nest, and let me tell you all, those scenes were the best, this time there´s a lot more alien warriors and another ones i never saw before.

The aliens in this one are killing machines, they move at an awesome speed through the air ducts of the spaceship, of the base, leaving no chance for the soldiers.

Everything about this fan film just feels fresh. The restrained, natural performances by the fantastic cast; the outstanding production design.

The art designs are incredible: the entire look of the film feels very retro, with lots of tributes to the franchise.

The mysterious beginning puts everybody in check, when we see an engineer running away from an Alien Queen.

A really good dark atmosphere and gradually building suspense over the course of the film.

The rest of the supporting cast are nothing short of spectacular.

And the story really makes sense in way a didn´t think it was possible.

An 8 for me.

One of the best aspects is its amazing cinematography and creature/set design. All of that \work together to give the film a visual style that was unlike anything i saw in fan film like this.

The aliens attacks are gruesome and powerfull, and the new sentinel guns are awesome.

The film uses sound beautifully. Both the amazingly haunting and memorable postmodern soundtrack and excellent soundscape are flawless.

I went in to this knowing next to nothing what it was about, only saw the posters on their channels, and never saw any of the trailers, so that the movie was totally unexpected to me.

I loved what i saw, and from now on, will follow more works from these companys, they really know what the fans want to see in a movie like this.

Overall an 8, for everything that´s in this amazing movie.

What makes Alien o Despertar such an effective horror action film, is that till it´s start it doesn´t stop anymore, it´s a trip full of force back to lv426 where the aliens have been busy, building a new nest, with several mothers, and new hybrids.

Once the team gets there, is pure hell and action power, and that is what i loved about this, the scariest moments are all devoid of intrusive scoring, jagged editing and overblown sound effects. Instead most of the sound and music is pulled out and shots are held for a long time.

Making it a very credible horror adventure into the lore of the alien franchise.

I think everything in the film is fantastic, the music, the special effects, the final battle on lv426, the production design.

In "Aliens o despertar " we follow a group of scientists returning to lv426 to investigate a base there, they arrive only to find everyone dead as they go beneath the base they find alien eggs and soon they die at the hands of the aliens.

On Weyland space station orbiting earth we see who is in charge now, the son of the late mr. Weyland, he then orders the marines to go back there and save the scientists.

Once there they are caught by the aliens who make a trap for them, and most of the team dies.

They managed to escape, only to find death again as they have an alien on board their ship But this alien must be another variant because he is very smart he even opens doors.

Loved the finale, all in all a great movie.
