THEATRE OF THE DERANGED II is a cheap-as-chips horror anthology presented by a couple of laughable geek-type characters who seem to have wandered in from a Youtube video. Their dialogue is so diabolical that the anthology would have been better off without a wraparound introductory segment. There are five short horror films in total, generally of a very poor quality.
The first story is about Japanese lesbian ghosts and features extensive nudity and showering, but very little horror content. The next is a traditional slasher in which a nude girl is stalked by a maniac. The next is about a party in which the games get out of hand and the characters are menaced by an evil mime; it's as silly as it sounds. The next is a subtle character piece unfortunately spoilt by a gross-out gynaecological plot. The final story is an off-puttingly arty black and white piece about two masked guys in a house committing murder. All of the tales are consistently non-entertaining.
