Oooh this was a brilliant final episode, I absolutely loved it, and got totally lost in its tangled web of lies and deceit. What started off as a rather petulant story of friendly rivalry turns into something a whole lot darker, and more hate fuelled.
That dining table scene was amazing, the look on Ian's face throughout, awesome acting, the look of glee on his his face as he watched his friend let rip.
Penry Jones is arguably the star of the show in this episode, Evans has been allowed to run riot throughout, but this showcases the brilliance of Rupert.
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to watch Endeavour in the same way ever again.
