There's some good work on a lot of the characters here.It's nice to see Ruby and April building bridges and, aside from one rather worrying references to Dex, on the whole both Ruby and Bianca manage to put their feelings aside and give April good advice.Heath's appearance is rather brief but seems to reinforce the idea that there's something that makes him want to stay with April.
Irene gets some decent character work with her newfound passion for country and western and Liam helping her is actually rather sweet. Bianca's pregnancy becomes common knowledge, with Colleen keeping it a secret for all of a minute.
The only really bum note is Brax's storyline.Leah's involvement has never felt more forced and oddly Ruby's does as well.It's hard to care that Brax is sleeping around or that Ruby knows when both of them seem to have forgotten about Charlie anyway, although Ruby's comments to Leah about putting on a front for other people's sake does cover it to a point.
