- TriviaAs referenced in some other entries, particularly Watching Paint Dry (1991), then the chances of a stand-up comic "dying" on the show are higher due to the relatively small studio audience. With usually only around 20-30 people watching, there's no real chance for laughter to spread as it could amongst a larger crowd.
While Dreenagh Darrell does get some laughs and a round of applause, there are several stretches where she plays to silence - perhaps not helped by her fast-paced delivery, and her material being combative and designed to produce a shocked response, things that would stand a better chance of working amongst a larger crowd.
A brief shot of the audience also reveals that over half of them are male, which isn't perhaps the ideal demographic for Darrell's routine about the experiences of wearing sanitary towels and mocking the intelligence of men.
