March, 1940. It's St Paddy's Day in New York City. And the men are in bars; but the invaders are from Venus. The invader's sights are set squarely on the gang at the Independence Broadcasting Systems radio network. The popular comedy duo Clobber McGee and Irish Dave must save the day, even if they'd rather be serious actors in IBS's upcoming national broadcast of Julius Caesar. When a strike force of diminutive, body snatching, potato-resembling Venusians infiltrate McGee and Dave's home network, the two must use all their acting skills and limited deductive powers to thwart Venus's plans to conquer America via psychic control of the airwaves. The alien's target -- the cast and crew of Julius Caesar, starting with its star - Lawrence Olivier.
