Great acting

This is the best Reel One Entertainment TV movie which involves European royalty. They don't co-produce a lot of them like Hallmark and the previous efforts were mediocre at best. This one is actually overall a better one and with some changes it would be easily above average budget TV movie.

The first main issues are the technical one. Few scenes suffer from the poor audio production. OST is barely passable, and ROE can much better. Movie takes place in NYC, but it was clearly shot in Hamilton (Canada) like so many their other movies so they have to use excessive stock footage to fool viewers.

The second main issue is writing which varies from mediocre to pretty good. I mean it's full of the various tropes involving royalty, but on the other hand I was positively surprised that I couldn't predict some parts of the movie. Movie tries to portrait itself as romantic comedy and it's not. There is really minimal comedy, it's mostly romance, around the half there is some drama. It's enjoyable if you don't take it too serious.

The main reason why would you want to watch this movie is acting by the main leads. Paniz Zade was much better than in "Luckless in Love". Massive improvement. Her partner was again British one, but this time Jamie Thomas King is the real one. He even explained in the movie why he speaks British English, and not with Swiss accent. Not so much convincing as if you are Swiss neighbour you would go to boarding school in Switzerland. Anyway, I think they both were excellent as it's really rare in ROE TV movies to see that kind of chemistry and convincing acting among leads.

And obligatory don't watch trailer as it's the ROE one and for some unknown reason(s) it shows whole movie compressed.
