I'm with good chucky, and the Baptist scene was the most Hilarious s* I ever seen lol he's so cute in the same you feel there's something wrong with him , a sinister doll but cute lol , i need a whole series with good chucky making friends ,going to church, living he's best life lol , btw good episodes and also good answer for a question that we waited for so long , also Jennifer tilly she's gorgeous with every outfit, I'm sure that don Mancini he really love her you can feel that actress and her acting is so great , you can feel she's happy that she doing this with her best friend DON, when u step into the stage and there's a friend support you you can feel free and you can do your best and whatever you want, and that's how Jennifer doing now in this series she really enjoyed, also aaaah! Best Ep Of Season 2
Theedg37 November 2022
Might be the best episode of Season 2. Chucky has never been this damn entertaining, people working on the show deserve a hand. The first season started with a blast and kind of limped towards the end, the opposite is happening here. Its gaining momentum as the season slowly moves along showing us a glimpse of a very original wild Chucky storyline that I can't wait to see unfold. The show is at its best when Chucky is on screen so giving us many different ones was a great call. The show loses a little steam when Tiffanys storyline comes on but its just because Chucky and Jakes is so freaking intriguing.

Good Chucky is simply incredible, showcases his humor and has a great fight in this vs gym bro Chucky. Must see for Childs Play, Chucky fans.

Just okay..

The plot of the 5th episode was kinda interesting, just like the previous episodes. The storyline was well-written and that episode was full of plot twists. The characters are still very interesting and well-developed. The opening scene was definitely unexpected and the fight scene between good Chucky and bad Chucky was the best part of that episode. The kill of episode 5 was just fine, nothing wow. Actually, season 2 didn't had the best kills, so far.. Overall, it was a nice episode and the ending scene was definitely unexpected and kinda shocking. I literally can't wait for episode 6 and I hope it's gonna be great.

I'm Excited to See Where this is Going
rebsothoth4 November 2022
Yes, this season of "Chucky" is definitely going to offend a lot of people. There's an interview with Don Mancini explaining his upbringing and relationship with Christianity, and it feels like the main plot of this season is his way of working through and expressing his views. That said, I feel like it's coming from a place of nuance, where some characters have faith that Christianity can forgive people and help them grow, while other characters view the church as a way to oppress and condemn people. It's a debate that goes on every day, all over the world. I'm personally not offended by the exploration of faith, even in horror, and want to see which point of view "wins" in "Chucky".

I do understand that the blasphemy and twisting of iconography might be enough for some people to stop watching, but it happens in a lot of horror. "The Exorcist" springs immediately to mind. I feel that if you can appreciate that it comes from someone that is perhaps disillusioned with faith, you can learn about how "the other side" thinks. There is some value to that, surely.

Horror draws me to it for two main reasons: it's an exploration of the limits of the human mind, particularly regarding how we face adversity, and it makes me glad that IT'S NOT HAPPENING TO ME. I like that. Makes me feel like my life is pretty good, because killers dolls are NOT attacking me at the moment. That's a form of stress relief for me, and this episode provides plenty of purely escapist horror. It brings in a lot of the lore, including familiar faces once again. The plot is layered enough that it shows us where it's coming from and where it's going to, and that really gets me excited to see what's in store for everyone. I really enjoy how deeply it leans into the Jennifer Tilly story, which I've adored since "Seed of Chucky" and is still front and center here. I couldn't be more thrilled with this season, which combines thought-provoking takes on faith and over-the-top comedic horror in ways that I find truly engaging.

Also, Brad Dourif doing a Marlon Brando impression is pure gold. Chef's kiss to the writers!

Just a nice episode

The plot of the 5th episode was kinda interesting and I liked it. The storyline was well-written and the plot twists were totally unexpected. The characters are still very interesting and well-developed, even though there weren't many new characters. The kill of episode 5 was just okay, nothing wow. Actually, season 2 didn't had the best killcount, so far.. Probably, the best part of that episode was, the opening scene (the fight between good Chucky and bad Chucky was ICONIC). The ending scene was definitely unexpected and kinda shocking. Overall, season 2 isn't as good as season 1, I hope the next few episodes are gonna be good..!

Very Good [8/10]

Warning: Spoilers
My Reaction / Review for Chucky Season 2 Episode 5: Episode 4 was awful, very mediocre and I gave it a rating of 5/10. I hope this episode is decent or im gonna be mad. Chucky vs Chucky, let's go. So now we have a Good Chucky, that's cute. Im not sure I like Glen being part of the show, such a non interesting character. I think it's nice that Lexy has a friend now. Who took Trevor's body? Could Good Chucky be really good? That's the question. A baptism for Good Chucky? What nonsense is this? The nun thinks that Chucky is God? Now that's a Chucky thing to do. The killing of Meg was satisfying. Wow, Tiffany put the house on fire, is this the beginning of a new chapter? The psychiatrist works for Chucky? Now that's a good twist. Im so glad this episode is good because the previous one is trash. My rating is 8/10.
