I have watched every episode of both shows. "The Closer" is better. In the series finale of that show, Stroh should have been arrested and charged with the assault on Rusty. If he had been, perhaps he never would've had the chance to try to kill Rusty and Brenda in her home. After that happened, he should have been charged with two counts of attempted murder - LAPD Deputy Chief and a protected witness. We may have never heard from him again. What's weird about that is Stroh wasn't mentioned even once in this series premiere including the fact that he somehow survives three gun shot wounds but there is no word about his condition, recovery or ARREST! It makes no sense.
