A tale of toys
Paularoc9 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Burgess Meredith is the host and narrator of this episode. In this case, the big newspaper story is one written by Emil Slaboda of the Trentonian (New Jersey). It's a tale of toys that turned into weapons. Danny Logan loved being in the Navy. Injured, he spent a lengthy period in the hospital and was then given a medical discharge which greatly upsets him. Married with a child, he can't hold onto a job. His friend Matty (Wolfe Barzell) has been giving him money to support himself and his family, but decides he can no longer do so. Purchasing a toy gun that looks very real, Danny begins robbing stores. At the end of the episode, the real Emil Slaboda makes some remarks. Robert Brown (of Here Come the Brides television show) does a good job as the desperate and contrite Danny Logan. This episode is not listed as one of Robert Brown's credits in IMDb nor is it listed under Wolfe Barzell's credits which is odd because the episode itself includes acting credits.
