- Throughout the entire series, there are frequent uses of the Irish slang word, "feck." This sounds a lot like a more popular English "F" word, especially said with an Irish accent. Feck is an expletive but does not the same sexual connotations that the more common "F" word has, and is not considered a serious swear word.
