This is the third installment of "The Brightside Trilogy".
The other two entries are "Eating Razors" and "The White Lie".
Directors Fred Vogel and Brian Paulin can be heard on the radio frequencies in the film.
In the third act of the film, two Jehovah witnesses come to the Grandfathers household (now belonging to the main character, Trent). They talk to Trent before getting murdered by a blunt object to the head. This is a reference to the 1995 movie "Schramm" where at the beginning of the film, two Jehovah witnesses matching the same description get a very similar fate.
