While there's still a bit of interesting character drama in here, the focus on the "baddies" being nasty without any hint of a consequence pulls attention away from the important stuff.James Mason has some nice bits as Chris but his guilt and the legal consequences should be enough without dragging in a senseless plot line about Paul trying to sue a teenager just a few months out of school because he hasn't hurt anyone recently.Toadie and Ajay's unsympathetic attitude doesn't help and it's a relief that Lucas is looking out for him.
At the same time, despite putting a guilt trip on him that seems to have gone in one ear and out the other, Tasha forgets that she was going to report Andrew to the police and allows him to keep his ill-gotten games, as his guilt quickly disappears once money's involved.
Oh-and Sophie's apparently fighting for her life but with all that going on it's hard to notice.
