about the people who built the gas chambers and apparatus

Warning: Spoilers
This is a good Horizon documentary that deals with the subject concerning the design blueprints of the Auschwitz gas chamers and crematoriums. Until 1991 (very recently in the context of this particular documentary) they had been kept in a Russian KGB archive after being discovered at Auschwitz when the Russian Army liberated it at the end of World War 2.

The documentary shows a person who has the blueprints with him on a table and giving insight into how they changed and were altered over the course of a few years to finish up with the "fully operational" death camp that Auschwitz is so infamous for. (The use of that quote is directly from the documentary itself).

The documentary then goes on to explain who the company was who worked for the SS by designing the apparatus, it explains the way they were built and by whom the reasoning behind the decision. it also specifically names the three design engineers who were responsible for drawing up the blueprints. Then there are interviews with camp surivors, Russian ex-military personnel and affected / connected civilians. Some rare footage and photos of the camp are also well presented and explained.
