The Concert for Bangladesh: The Original Artwork (2005)

*** (out of 4)

Art Director Tom Wilkes is joined by Barry Feinstein and Bhaskar Menon as they discuss the album cover, the controversy around it and what all went into the actual cover and liner notes. Again, this is one of the mini-featurettes on THE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH special edition and at under five-minutes there's certainly nothing ground-breaking here or anything that people are going to be bowled over by. With that said, fans of the film, concert or album should enjoy hearing about the decisions that went into the cover as well as what pictures to use from the show. It's clear that Harrison was fully into the decisions made and we get to see some of the pictures that were eventually used here and elsewhere. One such example is a picture that was taken of Bob Dylan that wasn't used here but ended up being used on his Greatest Hits Vol. 2 album.
