There is a scene in the film with over 100 extras. Those extras were family, friends, and Kickstarter Donators who were asked by the filmmakers to appear in this very poignant scene.
Producer Joel Ceballos' and Kico Velarde's homes were turned into sets for the making of the film.
The film was shot over 4 days in the city of Upland, California. Many local businesses donated food, furniture and hotel rooms for the cast and crew during the making of the film.
