Rapport profiled itself by hiring a full-time meteorologist, John Pohlman, and in October 1982.
In connection with the move from Stockholm, SMHI got a new management that disliked the meteorologists appearing on TV in their spare time. It was thought that this activity should be included in the service at SMHI. It also caused some annoyance to the management that the TV meteorologists were also used in other productions, especially when the regional program Östnytt started its broadcasts in January 1980. This led to the news programs Aktuellt and Rapport moving the weather broadcasts back to Stockholm.
During the period 1975 to 1982, the weather forecast was broadcast from Norrköping. In addition to the daily evening broadcasts of the news programs Aktuellt and Rapport, Norrköping's TV also produced other weather programs, including monthly reports.
