COME HERE OFTEN?

Warning: Spoilers
The film opens rather campy as a fine looking young lady (Emali Kimker) steps out of the shower. She is accosted by a clown (Daniel Skinner) who makes cuffs from string balloons. The clown is taken out by our star, Officer Mary (Heather Hall) who apparently has a history of violence. She is recommend for a special program to control her PMS symptoms. The program doesn't work out and Mary (Cindy Means) goes Uma Thurman all over them in bloody, poorly choreographed violence. Unfortunately the film was so low budget that once they went into one building, they stayed there, limiting their ability to create good scenes.

Acting left much to be desired too.

Guide: F-bomb. No sex. Nudity (Emali Kimker)

Starts off great, falls apart quickly

This fun, exploitive idea was much more ambitious than the crew could deliver. Starts off pretty solid for zero budget, and then quickly face plants as PMS cop proper comes to life. For starters, the overbearing super-loop repeated synth soundtrack really got on my nerves after about the 15th loop. It's like a youtube instruction video where you desperately want to mute it, except with this, if you mute it you'll miss most of the dialogue. The obnoxious sound-over, underwhelming production value, and lack of interesting locations after the first 20 minutes, tank this one pretty hard. Great try- Need more budget for this concept and for decent kill effects.

It had potential. It killed it without mercy.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is pretty good... at the beggining. Then it dies horrible. It was like looking at a train crash.

Our main character is Mary, a cop with a background full of abuse that, after almost turning a clown into a blood soup gets into a pharmaceutical trial for a drug designed to mitigate the sintomathology of PMS. First of all, I really love how even after knowing her background the psychiatrist immediatelly says PMS. That was so mindblowingly dumb it was actually funny. The first 30 minutes are pretty much like that: something dumb happens, then more dumbness happens and it solves itself in the funniest way possible. It was great.

Then the movie turns into an attempt of being a gorefest, but it lacks the effects to do so. The action is tame, the camera is bad, the photography is terrible and there is so much dialog that tries to explain the pseudoscience of what is going on that it actually stop the movie and it becomes painfully boring Even during the action the movie tries to be funny, but it is so forced it makes the action even worse. You won't feel the first 30 minutes. The rest of the movie oh god you are going to feel it, I assure you.

The acting was actually pretty solid. Some characters, like Mary or Sokolov could have been great if they had more films under the belt. The camera is decent in general. It has a couple of moments here and there but nothing really special. The editing and the photography were terrible in the second half. There are some moments of brilliance but they get covered in so much trash they become unnoticeable. The music is decent, but not very original. The dialog was good for the first half, incredibly forced in the second.

In short: A movie with a premise that could have been something so bad it was so good, but that kills this possibility in less than 30 minutes. Too boring to recomend, too mindblowingly dumb to not to. Watch this under your own responsibility.

Could've been good

It starts out as a semi involuntary funny, low very low budget action satire movie. But takes a turn for the worse when they turn it into a gore splatter movie, which it has neither the budget nor special effects to be.

The plot summary is slightly wrong to,she is not forced into the evil pharmaceutical company, she goes there more or less voluntarily after a recommendation from the police departments head shrink.Who's job is to evaluate her after she beat up a rapist, who's dressed as a clown. Bottom line is, they all Blame it on her having PMS,she have to go see a shrink, shrink recommend new experimental drug, female cop goes ape on drug

The female lead seem to have what it takes to be an actress, once she gets more work under her belt. She doesn't have that bored look in her eyes, that some of these B/C movie actresses have. But I'm afraid there's very little she can do with the script, who can't land it self on funny nor action oriented. And end up being more of s student project.

Now if it had gone the footstep of psycho cop,it could actually have been quite entertaining. But I think even that movie ,had a bigger budget than this

Not to mention that a lot of the acting is sub par,and worse than some of the extras in a Adam sandler movie.

Big boobs, mayhem, and fun!

I love this movie! It's a blast from beginning to end especially for such a low budget. Tons of kills and gore with some nice nudity in the opening! If you're taking this seriously, look at the title. It's exploitation and it's awesome. Sure it isn't perfect but if you enjoy films like Maniac Cop, this is right up your alley. An indie gem for sure. Give it a chance. Most indies are long and pretentious crap but this is so much fun. Clearly made with passion and heart. The ending action bit even reminds me of The Terminator. It's so much better than expected.
