This episode moved along quite well, though it does suffer from a few moments of excess bloat, a few unnecessary scenes, but they play as character moments so I guess ok. Alex is gone and presumed dead, with blood in her apartment and Dan is the prime suspect, mostly due to his own mistakes when lying to the cops. Most of the rest of the episode is almost like a police procedural with the cops on one side and Dan and his inspector buddy on the other (in both timeframes) trying to figure out who actually dunnit, but my money is on Alex still being alive at the end of all of this, which would lead to another season. Altogether a solid episode though it drags a little. With 2 episodes left in the season it will be interesting how they wrap this up.
