- Reeling from the last vote, one Survivor finds them self alone on the island, fighting to the death for the immunity necklace. Then the result of the immunity challenge forces some Survivors to rearrange their game plan.
- Previously on 'Survivor': Kim started playing both sides after the merge, then decided to join the women in taking out the men. Troyzan and Jay became suspicious. Chelsea won immunity, and Troyzan decided to play his idol and told Jay about his plan. Jay went and spilled the plan to Kim, which backfired. Jay was booted while Troyzan played his idol.
Back at camp: Troy is disappointed after losing Jay and realizing he's "next in line." Christina urged Troy to "take it as a compliment," but he calls her out in front of everyone and questions why she went along with the ladies. He starts to get into a shouting match with Alicia, who stands up for Christina. Troy is fired up now and tells us it's "Troyzan versus everybody else."
Troy has a talk with Chelsea and tries to express that he deserves to stay longer than at least three or four other people. Chelsea tells him "it's just a game." Troy is upset by this and says the girls are acting like girls often do -- in his words -- saying they get their house, food, etc., then get rid of the guy.
Tree mail delivers news of an auction, and everyone's excited to bid on luxury. Troy is more focused on bidding on anything that could help him in the game.
The auction: Each player has $500 to spend. They can't pool money or share their items. Three donuts and an iced coffee goes to Chelsea for $160. A margarita, chips and guacamole goes to Sabrina for $400. A protein shake with bananas inside and two on the side goes to Leif for $100. A shower goes for $40 to Kim. A BLT, chips and a cold iced tea goes for $180 to Kat. She's surprised to discover "there's bacon in there!" A bowl of peanut butter and chocolate goes to Kim, who steps out of the shower half naked to take it.
Jeff brings out letters from home and Alicia bursts into tears and bids her entire $500 to win it. She says her dad has never written her a letter before. She reads it, and Tarzan cries. Tarzan, who said he was saving his money to repair the shocks on his car, gives Jeff $500 for his letter from home. But he chooses not to share it. Troyzan is crying now, saying he'd love to read a letter from a loved one because he feels so alone, but he's going to have to do this by himself.
The next item is an advantage in the next immunity challenge and Troyzan bids $300. Christina starts a bidding war with him -- shockingly, neither of them bids the full $500 -- and Troyzan ends up taking it for $420, despite Kat urging Christina to call $500. Troy slams his fist on the table, saying he's pissed because it's so clear everyone wants him gone.
The next item remains covered and comes with a note. Kat bids up to $160. Jeff uncovers a huge cake. The note reads that it's for the entire tribe and they have 60 seconds to eat it. Everyone takes a bite and the auction is over.
Back at camp: Troy reads his immunity challenge advantage, which tells him he is already advanced to the second level of the next challenge. He's also going to head out on a search for a hidden idol -- and he doesn't care if people see him. He says that he can get them to scramble by instilling fear in them.
Chelsea admits now that she and everyone else was upset that Christina didn't outbid Troy for the immunity challenge advantage.
While out on his hunting expedition, Troy pretends to stuff an idol in his pocket because he knows he's being watched. Everyone is worried now that he's possibly found the idol and could win the immunity challenge.
Immunity challenge: In a three-stage challenge, the players have to first untangle a huge rope. The first four (including Troy) to finish will move on to the next round. Christina, Kim and Tarzan finish first to join Troyzan in the next round.
In the second round, the players have to bounce coconuts off a trampoline to knock out three targets. Troyzan is the first to do it and he gets all intense, shouting at the rest of the group, "This is my island, you can't beat me!" Chelsea tells him to shut up and Sabrina is annoyed. Tarzan finishes next to join Troyzan in the next stage.
Here, the players have to slingshot coconuts, one shot at time, to knock out three targets in a line on a tic-tac-toe kind of board. Troyzan does it and starts to talk to the whole group about how they're all running scared and he's just been going at 50 percent, so far. Now he's ready to bring it.
Back at camp: Tarzan tells Troyzan to "be noble" if he wins because "it looks bad." Troyzan says he's just frustrated because he knows everyone is against him. They shake hands.
Troy tells us how happy he is to have the idol around his neck.
Kim and Chelsea chat about who should go next. They still think Troyzan has a hidden idol, so they start to think about who will go next. They don't want to take a girl out because of the chaos and paranoia it could cause.
Tarzan and Leif talk about how they think it's one of them going home.
Troyzan tells us he's going to talk to Leif, Tarzan, Christina and Alicia about turning things around. He goes to Leif and Tarzan to talk about it. Troyzan talks to Christina about how she and Alicia can move themselves ahead. He talks to Alicia, who says she doesn't want to make a rash decision right away but she isn't closing the door to it. She tells us that it's something she has to think about.
Tribal Council: Troy and the women get into a verbal match about how unlikeable he's been the past two days on the island. Troy and Sabrina go back and forth for a long time until it finally ends with Jeff shaking his head.
Chelsea says the paranoia set in and she started thinking about "the old Manono." Troy then throws it all on the table, saying out loud that Tarzan, Leif, Christina and Alicia should vote Kim out with him so they can get themselves into a final five situation.
Christina says Troy's proposition is an interesting one. Alicia says that if somebody were to flip, "the girls would be screwed."
Troy writes down Kim's name while calling her a great player. Chelsea writes down Leif's name, saying he's been "wishy-washy from Day 1."
The vote: Leif, Leif, Leif, Kim, Kim, Tarzan, Tarzan, Tarzan, and the 10th person voted out is Leif.
Leif's last words: "This has definitely been one of the Number 1 things I've always wanted to do. I definitely gave it my all. I have no regrets."
