Putting aside the somewhat dark(ly comic) ending and the occasionally gross subject matter, 'Web Weirdos' keenly displays this show's knack for eliciting belly laughs when you least expect it. Finn and Jake wind up in the middle of a bickering spider couple after getting caught in their web. Where are you going to find a kids' TV show addressing marital problems that isn't at all preachy? And who'd they get to play the spiders? Bobcat Goldthwait and Susie ball-busting Essman. Sometimes I wonder how well this show would work without the offbeat (but usually perfect) voice casting.

This episode, "Web Weirdos", is not the episode I first expected from the title (I thought it would be about the internet or something, kind of like "Guardians of Sunshine"), and I wouldn't say I was entirely happy with this episode, but it did have some very good moments!

I have to say, however, I feel that Finn and Jake were not entirely necessary for this episode. They didn't supply any good jokes, or even good dialogue, and personally, I would have liked someone like Ice King or BMO to help with Ed and Barb's relationship issues.

The spiders were actually my favourite aspect of this episode, mildly mirroring relationship problems in the real world, and how people deal with them. Well, except for the cannibalism part, that went a little too far. I found that they were the most entertaining, and although the ending wasn't the best, I liked them nevertheless.

Overall, I found this episode to be around the level of "The Silent King" (which I didn't like much), and compared to the previous season's episodes this was slightly disappointing.

Tbh, I think I've been learning a lot of relationship tips these past few episodes...and it's a littttttle weird.

This episode sucks. Finn and Jake get caught in a spider web and try giving the spider relationship advice while also trying to escape at the same time. This one is just uncomfortable to watch, there's a shocking amount of gross out humor in this one, and it's not charming in anyway like the gross out in other Adventure Time episodes. You can really care that no one on the team really cared about this one, it's what you call a bottle episode. A bottle episode just means that they wanted to use as little money as possible making it, so it takes place in the same setting the whole time and barely uses any character assets. Bottle episodes can be done well, but this one is very very boring, as it's the same the whole time.
