Come on now, the other reviewer saying he does not understand Lim's antagonism towards Shawn... it is understandable.. she needs someone to blame for her condition, just like Dr House blamed his ex wife for his constant pain and limp.

It is coping..

anyway, the intriguing point is Lim once more needing to think about the surgery instead of jumpin on it to be able to walk LOL.. and of course, everytime the veteran intern talks to Lim about disability I cannot hold my laughter, the woman lost part of her below the knee.. she can basically do everything.. besides running top speed.. and she talks to Lim, that is in a wheelchair, like she understands what she is going through...

anyway, the case with the 2 brothers was interesting for a change.. eating disorders are extremely relevant and sometimes not spoken about enough..

once again park and morgan bickering with each other.. dude, just get together already.. we know it is going to happen anyway.

Just a few thoughts

Warning: Spoilers
No far-out, obscure disease, but I liked the bulimia storyline -- especially the mention that eating disorders are the most deadly mental health disorders. That's something most people don't know. And they also talked about the shame such people feel. I admit I wasn't paying complete attention, but as I recall, they portrayed the situation accurately and well.

I never understood Dr. Lim's antagonism towards and blame of Dr. Murphy, so I'm glad they've hopefully FINALLY resolved that. I also don't find believable her hesitancy is having the surgery to fix her paralysis now that she/her body has demonstrated that she can be made whole again. Who wouldn't jump (metaphorically) at the chance after all her complaining and all she's gone through. Her reaction just feels like another plot device to drag things out, as they did with her feud with Dr. Murphy.

One funny bit of this particular episode: Dr. Murphy coming up with his (self-perceived) brilliant idea of an extensive rating system of the residents to see who is best. As any viewer could guess, it did not go well. So be sure to watch to see how he acts/reacts when he realizes it as well. That did make me laugh.

Generally speaking though, this has not been a great season, but we will hope for better in the New Year.

S6.E9 - Amazing Episode! [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S6. E9) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 9 ''Broken or Not''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. I really like that Lim has a supportive boyfriend. There is a chance that Lim could walk again? That's awesome. I think that Alex and Morgan are still in love with each other, its too obvious. What happened? Did the bulimic guy try to kill himself? That's so sad. It's sad that Lim thinks that if she starts walking again her relationship could end. Im glad that Lim decided to do the surgery. Daniel started using again? That's disturbing and very sad. Lea is pregnant? Again? Wow, what a twist. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.
