- The main theme of the story involves the rape of a young woman and the subsequent rape of further women whilst being filmed. Though actual scenes of sexual violence are relatively brief and undetailed, there are two notable scenes of rape. One is shown via a projected film and lacks strong detail. The other is more intense and involves the forcible restraining of a young woman while she is assaulted.
- In another scene, very different in tone, a young man and woman kiss on a bed. It is suggested she works as a prostitute and it is briefly implied the man performs cunnilingus on her. They are interrupted before any futher activity takes place. The young man asks his friend to wait five minutes (one presumes so he can have sex with the woman) but his attempts to delay the man fail and he gets dressed and goes with him.
