In The Lovers, a love story blooms between two people who appear to be utterly wrong for each other, but they might just be entirely right. Janet a supermarket worker who doesn't care about anything, including her life, and Seamus, a self-centered political broadcaster.
Not particularly well written. Janet overreacts just a bloody tad when Seamus has to go back to work. So he needlessly gives up his career to prove what's more important to him. A love story though, sure. All Janet's work colleagues have moments in this episode, where Jason even speaks in frustration, getting a laugh. Good music choices included.
