Longmire investigates the deaths of two Indian men, found floating in the river. It leads to a type of gang related drug smuggling. Some of the reservation boys are involved in it and this makes the investigation hard. They are close mouthed. There are many layers here, including the influence of a Mexican drug cartel. Also, there is no trust when it comes to drug money. Well done episode with a sad reality.

Longmire -The Cancer

My wife and I write these stream of consciousness "reviews".

8 stars. All our reviews begin with 8 stars.

What kind of bait was that guy using?

From 00:57 to 01:06 -The rope used by crew members to help Walt can be seen.

At 09:52 -"Lawyers, Guns and Money" is a 1978 song by Warren Zevon.

At 14:29 -Officer Mathias' name tag has his name misspelled as "Mathais".

Is a passive racist better than an active racist, Mathias?

The pizza delivery guy always knows where to score the best weed, right?

Actually, Branch, when you stock a cooler the warm beer is put in back.

You know, Walt? If you're walking forward you are following your nose.

From 27:07 -Music can be heard playing but as soon as Walt yells: "sheriff's department" the radio is magically turned off.
