Is Brody about to crack?
Tweekums26 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
After being told he can't let his daughter Dana go to the police things don't go well for Brody; Dana storms off and when he gets home he has an argument with his wife. He is meant to be at a meeting with Roya but instead he appears to be having a breakdown. Once Jessica is out of the house Carrie goes in and persuades him to go to the meeting. It does not go well; ending with him telling Roya it is over. Carrie is determined not to blow the operation so picks up Brody and disappears with him; leaving the CIA furious and her mentor Saul somewhat embarrassed. They go to a remote motel and enjoy a night of passion… not knowing that they have been found and the entire team is listening to their activities! The plans seemed to work though as the next morning he calls Roya to arrange another meet. After meeting they drive off together then stop in the middle of nowhere; things are looking bad and Carrie tries to get closer to see what is happening… they depart again but this time in a helicopter… they can't be followed this time. Meanwhile Dana is still trying to decide what she must do; unwilling to go home she heads to Mike's house; the next day he takes her to see the dead woman's daughter and is surprised that she doesn't want the police informed... somebody has paid her off.

There are still several episodes left but the tension rose again as it looked as if Brody was going to have an emotional breakdown and blow the entire operation. Equally it looked as if Carrie's actions could land her in trouble too… the CIA were certainly furious till it turned out her unconventional methods had worked. Talking of her methods one couldn't help being embarrassed on her behalf as she and Brody's vocal love making was listened to by a room full of agents! As always the acting was solid throughout and the ending left me keen to see what happens next… I don't imagine the creators would kill off Brody but he is certainly in a dangerous place!

As Brody is being taken out into a field Carrie follows to see a helicopter is there to meet with them. They take Brody away with them. Brody is then taken further then the helicopter, a car drives in with Abu Nazir there to meet with Brody. OK episode with the reconnection in the room being the best part.
