Good episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is IMHO a bit of an oddment episode. When John finds out it's not so easy 'viewing' in the suburbs Finch buys a house, car, clothes and 'golf clubs'! This is when you see Zoe in her real good act mode and John in his too. This episode is certainly worth a second viewing because you see good acting on all parts. Look at the expression of Carter towards the end, Zoe regarding the proposal and even Zoe / Reece at the end regarding the 'extra night'. This series is generally a bit 'too' good you know and where the heck will 'The Machine' lead us to to next I wonder?!

Big Time Spoiler; The concept of this episode is the finding of a man with a hidden past. For 15 years he's lived the life of a dead person. The 'bad' people who her originally worked with have been released from jail and he never participated in their last heist which sent them there. They believe he's the guilty one and not them. Enter Finch/Reece to sort it all out. The group intend to thieve jewels from a prominent figure. They use they found person to unlock the safe in a 42nd floor penthouse. He can unlock by precision (a lost art) and they intend to kill him or leave him to be arrested etc. Enter Reece (with Carter knowing all about it). The end result is the 'baddies' getting caught however the (now) good guy turns himself in. The last scene is the man wears a 'tracker' on his ankle, Reece and Zoe move out however she suggests they stay another night and he sounds positive about it! (bad bad!!)

Nothing better than a real-life marriage reflected on screen

I always loved this episode bc it showed real-life married couple Michael Emerson and Carrie Fisher being good together on screen and boy oh boy I love what I see. Nothing better than real love reflected in this episode. It is nice to see there's hope for us all seeing a shy genius find love from a shy artist. I really hope I find a love like that someday. Other than that I really wish more and more happy memories for the couple.

Not a lot of sense

Warning: Spoilers
I love this show and the episode was good.

But honestly it had a big mistake. Why did the bad guys wanted the man to have his face uncovered and his name was used during the robbery? If he got killed or arrested by cops his identity would for sure lead to them, his old partners in crime.

They should not take that risk. Do the job get the money and then avoid the cops and connection with the robbery at any cost. Even if they killed him after they would not get connected to the crime if his identity was secret.

People convicted already for robbery don't act so stupid.

This is the only logical error that bothered me in this episode.

Suburban Life

The Machine delivers the number of Graham Wyler, a family man married with Connie and with a teenage daughter, Izzy, who owns a hardware store and lives in the suburban Far Rockway. Reese finds strange that such an ordinary man is in risk, but Finch rents the house in front of Wyler's to Reese. He invites Zoe Morgan to pose as his wife to become closer to the Wyler's family. Finch learns that Graham Wyler died fifteen years ago, and he is actually the small thief Lloyd Pruitt, who was specialized in safes and used the identity of the deceased man to have a clean start. However, the criminals from his gang in the past have found him and a haunting him. Meanwhile, Finch recalls his romantic interest in Grace Hendricks, and his initial dates with her.

"The High Road" is a nice episode of "Person of Interest", with Reese and Morgan protecting a man haunted by his past. His decision to turn himself in to the police, and the decision of the judge, show a perfect world where criminals regenerate. Finch and Grace, who are real husband and wife in real life, dating each other is a very romantic part of the show. The soundtrack by John Lee Hooker is a plus in this great episode. My vote is eight.
