Gloria Trevi TRATA de limpiar su imagen
adriana_ana9 October 2023
Twenty five years ago Gloria Trevi, Sergio Andrade and Mary Boquitas were arrested on charges of corrupting minors. It's not a secret the only reason they got away of that was because Sergio Andrade's brother was a congressman.

Now we have this bio-serie from Gloria Trevi's point of view. She seems to remember every single detail of the violence she suffered, however, she has been having problems remembering the violence she put other victims through. How convenient!

Let me clarify something, I wouldn't have a problem beleiving that she was actually just another victim, however, her side of the story doesn't match the statements of other the other victims, on the contrary, they pointed her as a strong piece of the gang.

Just in this year Gloria Trevi is facing new lawsuits, however we don't see that in any episode, we don't see either any input of the other victims, just hers, why? Because that doesn't match with her agenda!

Repetitive

Warning: Spoilers
Although the storyline is being told as it happened through Gloria's point the episodes are repetitive you see the same abuse and physical violence every single episode. We are now on ep 25 and we don't need that many episodes of the same brain washing and domestic violence and child abuse.

A good 10 episodes that lead to the point would have done just fine. Also the Cesar character is so over the top that it becomes annoying to watch. As for the girls acting as the teens many of them need to take some acting classes as they miss the mark. Then main character does do a great job.

All in all it's a ok show but just like the show being repetitive I too repeat it's tooooo long and hard to watch. Sorry to also say there is no way so many girls would just take that abuse and not defend themselves.

Gloria Trevi: You are not them
lorena_hernandez_sam11 October 2023
It's not a bad idea to have a serie inspired on the victims of an international abuser like Sergio Andrade... the bad idea is having a person like Gloria Trevi as the leading role, since her participation on the clan have been never clarified.

Declarations from the other victims are very different from the tale told by Trevi, and I wonder why they didn't do a serie inspired on their statements, oh right... they are not famous, rich and powerful like Trevi.

Every episode makes Trevi a martyr, the actress casted as her doesn´t sound or gesture like her, it's like seeing a multiverse version of her, and of course, all the characters around her have flaws but her. She's just a "victim".

Absolutely beautifully told.

Absolutely beautifully told. Thank you for sharing. While watching the series, I cried, I was frightened, I was angry. And I cried & clapped of joy when good things happened. My emotions were with them and my heart and arms poured out to them. The situation wasn't easy for any of them. They lived with a pedophile, a dangerous manipulator who caused bodily and mental abuse. Using blame and creating enemies within themselves. Liliana, the rebel, as she called herself, is my favorite person. They were all victims of him, yet they were all guilty towards each other. May they fully heal from the burden they may still carry. Not to forget, and not to repeat it. I too am, Ellas.
