An absolute disaster of a film. From the script to the acting to everything about it. The main character acts as if he has some mental disorder but it doesn't fit the part so I think he just has that naturally. A true horror film in the worst way possible it's tough to fully describe just how terrible this was to experience. I hope the us government bans this movie from being seen as it is that bad. 4th graders with an old school camcorder could do a much better job. Once again if you want to see a movie thst is so terrible you lose faith in humanity then this is the movie for you. Otherwise please stay away.

This film was extremely captivating and brought about all emotions. It was very entertaining, the storyline was great, and the cast was just perfect. I would definitely watch again!

I was fortunate enough to be invited to two screenings of Long Shot Louie in NYC this past summer (2013). Let me just tell you that even as someone who had high hopes for the film going into seeing it, I was blown away seeing it the first time, literally tears welling up in my eyes at parts. Then, on my second viewing, I could appreciate more of the subtlety and subtext (of which there is plenty) and my attention was equally captured. I, for one, look forward to one day having this as part of my film collection. I really enjoyed how the film was able to depict some pretty dark themes but yet set them in a context that brought life and humanity to the darkness. The actors all shined quite bright, with a few small stars sprinkled in, and some lesser-known talent all proved their worth for larger stages as well. I was very impressed at the consistency and compatibility between all of the characters. It felt believable that these people really all knew each other all those years, as the film takes place over a large period of time. I personally recommend this film to anyone who appreciates well-acted drama that isn't opposed to some adult themes.
