Let's start with the blurb. It was a CFO, not a CEO.
Next, what about not one but FOUR mini-soap operas instead of a plot that concentrates on a case.
But THAT'S NOT ALL. These writers have to rehash a plot from season two, when a group was searching for the "White Knight" and his team. Did they completely forget they already produced a story with exactly this subplot?
Let's get on to the investigation. The CFO is murdered. Oh, she's having an affair with the company founder. Did he do it? Was it his wife? Maybe their daughter? We've seen this very same mystery on every murder mystery or police procedural show for the last 50 years. Pathetic.
And in this episode, the writers went COMPLETELY woke. Green energy company, two mixed race couples, and Rick's sister coming out. Couldn't they concentrate on one thing at a time?
This might be the last episode I have the stomach to watch, and we've watched it since the beginning.
